STATUS OF THE PARK - UPDATED 6/15/07

Contrary to some rumors that have been circulating, the wall has not been torn down. The building next to the park was damaged by fire and has since been torn down and removed. Extra support is being added to the wall but the fence has been removed and the main part of the park is open.

Although we don't have a firm timeline for completion of the project, we anticipate it will be completed in time for this year's Standin' on the Corner Park Festival, to be held September 28th and 29th, 2007.
